Plein air artists

Our Plein air artists meet every Thursday morning around the inner Auckland area. They take a short break over the winter months. All members are welcome.

Painting in plein air is fun, mentally absorbing and sociable.

Painting outdoors gets you at of the studio and into nature. It can  improve speed and assurance and forces you to look carefully when deciding what is important in a scene.

It enables artists to create with painterly and intuitive results in any medium.

Try it!
