I have enjoyed drawing and sketching all my life, and continued these skills through my work as a landscape architect. More recently, I took up watercolour painting, which I love for its fluidity and unpredictability as well as its never ending challenge. In 2023 , following a painting holiday in Mexico I joined the Eastern Bays Art plein air group, which I enjoy because it is fun, sociable and takes me outdoors. I get particular pleasure from observing the natural and urban environment, its light, patterns and colour, to create an expressive painting.
